To switch on, press and hold the power key until the hob responds.
All 4 rings will flash with dots – press the one you wish to
use and then press+/- to set the desired heat level.
The hob will automatically switch off if no rings are activated
within 10 seconds.
To clean wipe up spills asap with kitchen
roll. Use hob-brite to remove marks when cold.
The mains switch (situated on the wall behind and to the right of the hob) should always be left on.

The heating is controlled with the thermostat behind the door, next to
the stairs in the kitchen. It is set to come on in the morning (7:00
to 10:00) and evening (17:00 to 22:00) when the temperature drops
below 21 degrees.
To override, press the up / down buttons on the thermostat.
Note: the display only lights up when the button is pressed. When the
heating is switched on the towel rail in the downstairs bathroom will
be very hot.
The mains switch should always be left on – situated behind the microwave.
The main kitchen light switch is to the left of the French windows, behind the curtain. (Not obvious!)
The circuit breakers are located in the top cupboard on the right hand side of the kitchen when facing the sink.
Open and close using the tool provided. The same tool is used for
riddling – insert into brass hole on the front left-hand side of the
stove. It also acts as a handle for the ash pan.
Keep the airflow at the top right-hand side open (to the left) to keep
the glass clean. Adjust the burn using the front centre dial.
